Groovy Day

Ella and Cali's elementary school had "Groovy Day" last month. It was the funniest thing ever. They had all the kids wear retro clothes and had them do this flash mob style dance to "The Hustle" on the front lawn. They had been practicing it for a couple of weeks in P.E. It was adorable. One thing I can say about their new school is it is FUN. The teachers and staff are party animals :) And both of my girls teachers are awesome. I've been very happy with the change in schools! Our last school, well, I won't go there...they had great teachers...that's about it :) Lets just say I had some issues there...

Enjoy the pics I took(they aren't that great). I barely survived the afternoon with Wes in the Bjorn and Ammon in the stroller..trying to carry my bag and take pics all at the same time. I made it though:) Oh, and here is a link to a video of the dance on their website if you wanna check it out :) I think the staff had even more fun than the kids, (probably since most of them actually lived in those "groovy days" :) lol

Cali was with the sweet little Kindergartners right in the front. She did every move so perfectly :) Made me smile so big to see her do that. She can be shy sometimes.

Hard to see Ella but if you look close she is towards the right side of the photo, towards the top, with a shiny tie around her head. The one with the beautiful tan of course :)
