Thank you Awkward Family Photos

I discovered awkwardfamilyphotos.com several months ago and thought I'd share a few of my favorite pictures. . .this is seriously one of the best sites on the web! Hours of entertainment. . .

Evil Easter bunny
What a sweet little girl

Love the Glamour Shots collar hold and the massive amount of denim and hairspray

The happiest place on Earth
Two guns. Two cats. Three smiles.
If I opened a present with this inside, I'd wrap it right back up and give it back.
Those eyes look about ready to pop out of their sockets. Maybe he sees a rabbid squirrel climbing up the Christmas tree or something.
Who knew Tampax could be so fun?

Two boys, each with their own set of problems.

Tan much?
Um. No comment.

Nothing cuter than a lemonade stand

We had a garage sale over the weekend on one of the most beautiful days ever. It was seriously a perfect day! We made some sweet mulah and got rid of lots of stuff. We also decided to bust out the lemonade stand a friend of ours gave us last month for the kids to use. They had a blast! It kept them busy and happy during the garage sale. The kids sold a few cans of lemonade and Sprite and were so stoked:) They even had a couple of friends there to help them. They were great little salesgirls and had lots of fun.

I mean, how could you not buy lemonade from these cute little faces?

Ella making her first sale. I was really grateful for the people that bought from them. The smiles on the girls faces were priceless.

Madeline and Cali having a conversation. Probably lemonade related:)

Ella and Madeline role-playing a sale. Gotta practice.
Here are Skyler, Madeline & Aubrey. They worked in shifts:)

Puppy break! Gotta stop and play with the dog every now and then.

After a long morning of sales, they deserved some lemonade of their own.
I love how Cali still had her helmet on(she had been riding her scooter and LOVES to wear her Dora helmet). Gotta stay safe while you drink your lemonade.

Zac trying to get a taste of the lemony goodness. Sorry dude. Nope.

They had so much fun! Thanks Kim for the lemonade stand-we love it.

Mr. Zac

I haven't posted any recent pics of the puppy lately, so I thought I'd post a couple of cute ones. Zac loves to steal the kids rubber snake(sorry Sarah-I know this will freak you out:) and chew on it. He sometimes gets his entire body wrapped by it. It looks so hilarious. I wasn't able to get a picture of that, but I still got a couple of good ones. And don't worry I supervise him to make sure he doesn't strangle himself or something. But this is seriously one of his favorite things to play with. Check out our cute lil guy.
Some friends have asked how he's doing. He is doing SO great for his age. He is a friendly spunky guy who we already love so much. But, I'll admit he is still a work in progress:) We've only had him about a month and a half but I think he is learning fast. He has his good days and his not-so-good days as far as housebreaking goes. He has learned to go on his little puppy pad in the house(but still has the occasional accident in his "area" aka the kitchen.) He mostly goes outside though. He will occasionally try and chew on a rug or the wall(Joey bought "Bitter Apple" spray and its working). But other than that, hes a keeper! The girls adore him. He loves to follow us around and play. He loves to play fetch, sit, give kisses and jump. He is crate-trained and will actually go into his crate himself every now and then to chill. He doesn't bark at night(never has actually!) There have been tough days since I'm dealing with a 2 year old and a puppy, which is like two toddlers:) But overall, I'm still happy we bought the lil booger. He hasn't ruined my life like everyone told me he would-haha:) He has brought so much laughter to our home! We love you Zac! I mean, how could we not? He is so darn cute.

Tigerthon!

This week was also the kids Tigerthon(yes, its been a busy week at school!). The kids run/walk laps to raise money for the school while having a really fun time. This was Ella's first year and she was SO excited. She ran and ran, lapping kids, going so fast, barely ever stopping, I was so proud! She told me later she wasn't even tired. And then the poor thing had an accident:( She didn't even get to finish the race-poor kid! She was so sad and in tears. Anyways, she still had a great time(before that happened) and she got to eat her special snack afterward so it was all good:) And I'm grateful for her teacher who added a few extra laps to her total to make up for it. That made her happy! Now we know we've got a little runner on our hands!

Aubrey also did a super job and ran her little heart out. She ran till she was red in the face! :) I'm so glad I was able to go and see both my girls do so great. And I have to give a shout-out to my friend Susan for taking these pictures of her running. My camera battery died darnit! Thanks Susan!

We're so proud of both of our lil tigers:) Hoping next year turns out better for Miss Ella and Miss Cali(who was knocked over by a bunch of rowdy boys and scraped her little knee.) It was a day of adventures thats for sure. We survived and at the end of the day we were all smiling. Sonic treats for dessert! Sundaes for everyone.

School Thanksgiving Feast

The girls elementary school had their annual Thanksgiving Feast this week. My kids are probably two of the only ones that eat the actual feast:) Aubrey loves the turkey and stuffing(and I've tried it and it actually isn't bad for cafeteria food!). This was Ella's first time to eat the school's feast so I wasn't sure if she'd like it, but she ate some! She is a little bit more of a picky eater than Aubrey, but she is still a great eater. But nope, not a stuffing fan like her big sis. At least she tries things! Here are a couple of pics I took of our lunch together. . .

I can't believe Thanksgiving is just around the corner!

That Beast

My girls have this little magnet Beauty & the Beast dress up set. You can dress Belle up in several different dresses, add Cogsworth, Lumiere, flowers, accesories, etc. The Beast is already dressed. So, I don't know, but when you open the container and put Beauty & the Beast side by side, before adding any magnets, it looks a little naughty to me, like, "Come to Papa!"Am I the only one who thinks this? Am I the only one that can turn an innocent little magnet activity into something dirty? Am I a bad bad person? :)

Ward Talent Show

Last Saturday evening was our ward(church) Talent Show. Its always a highlight of the year, seeing different people either make fools of themselves or show some real talent:) Kidding! Here are a couple of video clips of acts. And no, we didn't perform anything this year. We're boring I guess. Maybe next year...

And I also thought I'd post a cute clip of Cali enjoying it all. . .

Shoelaces

These were pictures taken a couple of weeks ago that I just came across(Joey was the man behind the camera). Too cute not to post, even if it is a little late:) I love how they both had to taste test the laces. Yum.

Tile!

I thought I'd finally make it so the first thing you see when you come to my blog isn't the freaky masked picture of Laura. You are welcome:) So, I haven't blogged much this week and I'm blaming the fact that I have spent all of my free time sleeping. Yep, still not feeling completely myself, very very tired. So, anyways, I'm back. Today I've had more energy and I actually didn't nap! So, I thought I would finally post pictures of the beautiful tile Joey put in our bathroom. It turned out PERFECT. Joey can do ANYTHING I swear. I love my handy man.

Before picture(Who puts carpet in a bathroom?? It was even in the toilet area-eewww):

After:

Thank you Joey! You worked for many many days and nights on this project and it turned out amazing! I had no doubt you would do a great job because everything you do is great!
Gotta find the perfect rugs now. . .

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

Just thought I'd leave you with one last image of Halloween horror. . .my best friend, Laura.
