What made it special you ask? Special friends. The girls have piano recitals twice a year so we've had several..but this one was extra special because of special friends! Aubrey's English teacher at school told the kids to let her know about any extracurricular activities they are involved in so she could try and attend. Now Aubrey doesn't just have one teacher..she has several...which means this teacher has LOTS of students. So when Aubrey invited her to the piano recital, I thought, is she really going to come? And sure enough, she didn't disappoint. Aubrey was so happy to see her! She is her favorite teacher :) Such an awesome gal. Ella invited her new buddy from school, Caitlyn, and her family. And they surprised us and came too! We love these new friends of ours and were so happy to see them there. It meant a lot to us that everyone took time out of their busy weekend to let our girls know they care. So, they each had a wonderful surprise from people that mean a lot to them. It was a spectacular recital shared with friends. They did a great job too of course :)
All of the piano students with Ms. Bethany, their awesome piano teacher..
Aubrey and her amazing school teacher, Mrs. Johnson...
I am wife to studly man, Joey. Mommy of five amazing kids, three beautiful wonderful girls and two sweet amazing boys. We also have an adorable pup named Zac. I enjoy blogging, playing tennis, traveling and eating, er, I mean cooking, spending time with the fam, and hanging out with friends. Joey is my BFF fo reelz. He is a loving and adorable husband, one cool daddio, and an island boy who misses his ocean. This blog is my journal of our lives together, random thoughts, beliefs, photos, ups, downs, the occasional political rant, and last but not least, silliness. Because my kids say I'm silly. And I hope they never stop saying it.
Aubrey is our 11 year old big sis/lil mama. She is in the fifth grade and shines at school! She is in the gifted/talented program and was elected into the Student Council this past year. She is an amazing reader, writer, and teacher. She is a very sweet and tender-hearted little lady who is a good friend and example to others. She also loves playing the piano and her new love is VOLLEYBALL!
Ella is our 9 year old girly girl who loves to accessorize. She has a very sweet easy-going personality that everyone loves. She is also very creative and can be found crafting at the table on many afternoons. She is in the third grade and is a very hard worker. She is one of the most "on task" kids I've ever seen and never has to be reminded to do her homework. She is also an amazing reader. She just started to play the piano and has decided to try basketball out this year. She is doing awesome!!
Cali is our 6 year old silly girl who keeps us laughing. And also keeps up on our toes:) She is a feisty little kid with a mind and will of her own. She also has quite the sense of humor and makes us laugh at the funny things she says every day. She loves to be outdoors, read books, and do puzzles. She started kindergarten this year and adores it, especially her teacher Mrs. Naber. She started gymnastics this month and is enjoying it. Her favorite thing in the world, however, is CANDY.
Ammon is our 2 year old little boy that we can't imagine life without. He is so very loved by his mommy, daddy & big sisters. Now that he is two, he is quite the explorer. He loves to get into EVERYTHING he can:) And color on everything too :) His answer to everything is "K!" He is a happy sweet kid. His favorite things to do are read books, play with cars and be outside with his sisters. We love this sweet boy of ours.
Wesley is our precious 8 month old baby boy. He has the cutest dimple on his right cheek and the biggest smile. He is now "mobile" and loves to army crawl and roll all over the place. He is now quite the explorer. And his disposition is the sweetest, he is a very happy baby! And a cute little toe sucker. We love this adorable lil guy!
Zachary is our 3 year old Maltipoo. He is a very sweet little loving guy who we are all in love with. He has been such a fun little addition to the family! We surprised the kids with him a couple of years ago and the kids always say he was one of their most favorite surprises ever.
